In a glittering ceremony held at the Hippodrome Amphitheatre in Harare, Lyshanda Moyas was crowned Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2025, emerging victorious among a field of talented contestants.
The event was a celebration of beauty, intelligence, and empowerment, and Moyuas’ crowning marks a powerful moment for women from diverse professional backgrounds stepping into the spotlight.
Born in Gweru and raised in Harare, Moyas is a woman of many talents. She is a qualified nurse, a finance and marketing consultant, and has worked as a supervisor at a windscreen fitment center in Harare.
Her journey into pageantry began with her crowning as Miss Intercontinental Zimbabwe in 2021, a title that introduced her to the national stage and laid the foundation for her continued rise.
Her win at Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2025 is a reflection not only of her poise and charisma but also of the evolving nature of Zimbabwe’s pageantry scene, which now embraces diversity in career paths, personal stories, and ambitions.
Moyas is known for her confident presence both on and off the stage, and she uses platforms like Instagram and TikTok to share insights into her life, passions, and work.
The Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2025 competition unfolded over two days, with a preshow on May 16 where the top 5 and top 3 finalists were announced.
