Shamva, Zimbabwe – In an audacious show of defiance, Zvomuya, an alleged ZANU PF youth leader in Mashonaland Central, has pledged to disregard a court order and President Mnangagwa’s ban on unsanctioned demonstrations, vowing to stage a protest against the Mines Ministry’s decision to vacate the gang from Element Minerals.
Just hours after being granted bail, Zvomuya and his cohorts, including senior party officials and notorious thugs, convened an illegal meeting at Shamva Country Club, plotting to unleash chaos and violence in the usually quite town.
Sources reveal that the meeting was attended by hired youths who previously attacked mine workers, as well as notorious individuals on bail for murder and wanted for heinous violence.
Zvomuya’s brazen disregard for the law and presidential authority has raised questions about whether this is a rogue element within ZANU PF or a province-wide defiance of the President’s rule.
The rebel leader’s actions come after his gang left 46 people injured in a violent takeover attempt at Element Minerals Mine last month, with Zvomuya accused of name-dropping President Mnangagwa to justify the illegal grab.
As tensions escalate, the nation holds its breath, wondering if Zvomuya’s defiance will be met with swift justice or if it signals a deeper crisis within the provincial party structures.
