The 114th edition of the Zimbabwe Agricultural Show is set to be held in Harare from August 26 to 31.

This annual event is a significant celebration of Zimbabwe’s vibrant and innovative agricultural industry.

Addressing journalists in Harare today, Zimbabwe Agricultural Show (ZAS), Chief Executive Officer Dr. Andrew Matibiri highlighted the importance of the event.

“The Zimbabwe Agricultural Show is a key event on the national calendar as it showcases the talent, innovations, and resilience of our farmers, agribusinesses, and agricultural stakeholders. It underscores the crucial role that agriculture plays in our economy and the livelihoods of the people of Zimbabwe.”

The preparations for this year’s show have been encouraging, with improved economic enthusiasm and significant pride in food sufficiency over the past few years.

Dr. Matibiri expressed confidence in the success of the upcoming agricultural show, attributing it to the intense activities and efforts by all stakeholders from various sectors of the economy.

The Zimbabwe Agricultural Show serves as a platform for farmers, agribusinesses, and agricultural stakeholders to showcase their products, innovations, and achievements.

It also provides an opportunity for networking, knowledge sharing, and discussions on the future of agriculture in Zimbabwe.
